DSE Training the Trainer

This course is for people who will be assessing employees display screen equipment and work station.

This course covers: How a new DSE Assessor completes their role.

The course includes: What Display Screen Equipment is, key legislation, key responsibilities, the potential harmful effects from DSE use, risk assessment, setting up a workstation correctly, maintaining wellbeing and the key tasks performed by the nominated DSE Assessor.

•    Workstation equipment and set up
•    Workstation assessment, including the environment
•    Risk assessment

Practical sessions will be included, highlighting Person Specified Risk Assessments for people who have additional requirements under the Equality Act.
