Health and Safety Management Workshop (full day or two half sessions)

Introduction This one day practical course is designed to give vital guidance and advice to Facilities and Premises Managers and Office Managers on their health & safety obligations.

The course supports the developing school health and safety standards for all staff.

The day course provides a range of ranges from safety management functions, providing a thorough grounding for those who do not have specialist knowledge in the area of health & safety.

Above all this course is practical and will equip you with knowledge to perform this part of your job to a high standard and to be able to cascade your knowledge throughout the school.

Objectives
 
  • Understand the health & safety responsibilities of running your building/s.
  • Understand health & safety monitoring as well as the documentation you require by law.
  • Be able to complete practical tasks safety and deliver in house training across the school.
